Solo Physician Practice Recruiting Dwindling

Healthcare reform is demanding efficiencies of scale that solo or very small medical practices can't meet. Recruiting doctors into solo practice settings "has almost entirely abated," a Merritt Hawkins study finds.

The headline is based on searches assigned to Merrit Hawkins, it would be interesting to see some data on the type of clients who submit these searches. Additionally it would be interesting to find data on the success rate (lenght of emlployment, reasons etc) on these Physician/Hospital committments as well as these 6-Physician-Groups.
