Mediation ongoing in case for former UPMC physician seeking $200K in back pay

Ongoing mediation has delayed argument on a summary judgment motion in the case of a former physician at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center seeking well over $200,000 in post-termination back pay. Per a Consent Order released by the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas on March 22, argument on plaintiff Joseph Bergerson, M.D.’s motion for summary judgment would be continued until further notice, to allow the parties to complete their mediation sessions.
