Healthcare providers are embracing population health management. Survey results in the 2017 HealthLeaders Media Population Health Survey show that a majority of healthcare organizations are either fully committed and underway or have an experimental or pilot program underway for managing the overall health of a defined population.
Survey results also show an acceleration of net patient revenue from risk-based population health management activities. This suggests that a greater number of providers are taking on risk-based population health activities and making a deeper commitment.
