Envision Healthcare and Magellan Health join perennial insurers, health systems, and PBMs on the annual list.
Two healthcare companies broke onto the latest edition of the Fortune 500 list, released Monday: Envision Healthcare and Magellan Health.
Envision cracked the top 200, placing at 198 on the annual list, while Magellan ranked at 475. Last year, Envision and Magellan ranked 538 and 526, respectively.
This year marked Magellan's debut on the Fortune 500 list, while Envision made its second appearance, after ranking for the first time in 2016.

"At Magellan, we will continue to innovate and introduce products that resonate, disrupt the industry and continue to make a difference in people’s lives."
Magellan's success was driven by improvements to the bottom line, including 20.7% revenue growth and 41.5% profit growth. Meanwhile, Envision saw its revenue grow by 220.4% and posted a market value of $4.6 billion as of March 29.
