Nearly 5,000 nurses from around the country have signed up to go to Haiti to help with earthquake relief. But it's not clear when any of them, or other healthcare workers, will make it there becauuse the Port-au-Prince airport was damaged in the quake. Flights have been limited, making it difficult for to fly there, the San Francisco Chronicle
reports. A civilian disaster-relief group of doctors and nurses organized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is expected to arrive in Haiti within the next few days.
