Mass. General Hospital plans museum to showcase its story

Boston Globe, February 16, 2010
Massachusetts General Hospital, the third-oldest hospital in the United States, is planning to build a small museum to display its nearly two centuries of history and serve as a new front door to its Boston campus. The 8,000-square-foot glass building would be near two traditional red-brick structures that visitors pass on their way to the hospital's parking garages. As the hospital prepares for its bicentennial in 2011, officials said momentum is building for the museum, which will be paid for through philanthropy.
