NJ-based Kennedy University Hospital certified as stroke center

Kennedy University Hospital in Stratford, NJ, was certified as a primary stroke center by the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services. The designation was granted, Kennedy officials said, based on the hospital's advanced capabilities and protocols and its abilities to rapidly and effectively diagnose and treat stroke patients. The Stratford medical center is the second Kennedy hospital to become a state-designated primary stroke center.
