After being sold to a Tennessee-based health care group, Tomball Regional Medical Center has appointed Bud Wethington to step into the role of CEO, starting Feb. 1. He is replacing Lynn LeBouef who resigned in December to accept a position with the medical center's new owner, Community Health Systems. Wethington is bringing more than 28 years of experience to Tomball Regional from Tallahassee, FL, where he served as president and CEO of Capital Regional Medical Center. Prior to his position with Capital Regional, Wethington served as CEO of Palmyra Medical Center in Albany, GA. He also held executive leadership positions as COO and CFO at facilities in Florida and Texas. Tomball Regional's COO, Keith Barber, has been serving as the medical center's interim CEO since LeBouef resigned.
