Practices hesitate to participate in upcoming PQRI program

Like many medical groups across the country, administrators at Morton Plant Mease Primary Care (MPMPC), a 70-physician primary-care group in Clearwater, FL, faced a difficult decision when presented with the opportunity to participate in the CMS Physician Quality Reporting Initia-tive (PQRI), which begins July 1.
