Find potential weaknesses, decrease risk with assessment

With healthcare facilities now under the regulatory microscope in virtually every area of operations, a risk assessment could be the difference between a headache-free fiscal year and a multimillion-dollar lawsuit. When a risk assessment is done correctly, it can measure a facility's compliance level with laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures. A risk assessment should be performed at least once every two years.
