Iowa Health System is now UnityPoint Health

The Messenger, April 18, 2013
The name UnityPoint Health will soon be familiar across Iowa and beyond. The nation's fifth largest nondenominational health system has changed its name. Officials at Iowa Health System, headquartered in Des Moines, announced Tuesday that the new name is UnityPoint Health. Fort Dodge-based Trinity Health Systems, long a senior affiliate of Iowa Health, will be adjusting the names of its components as part of this rebranding of the entire organization. Sue Thompson, president and chief executive officer of UnityPoint Health - Fort Dodge, said, however that the name alterations do not reflect a change in governance or management.
