Using incentives to ignite consumer-directed healthcare

Whether you are talking about the basic needs of the everyday consumer—banks, credit cards, and cars—or the more superficial purchases we make on a daily basis, such as coffee and blue jeans, you must realize that consumers are in control of their purchasing behaviors.

Consumerism is transforming the U.S. economy, as Americans are seeking services and products that fit their needs and lifestyles rather than simply accepting whatever corporate America thrusts upon them.

To survive in this market, companies must become more nimble, listening to consumers and adapting their strategies, products, and services accordingly.
