Tennessee health insurance clients targeted again

State regulators have issued a warning that at least two new companies not licensed to sell insurance in Tennessee may be marketing products to consumers, some of whom were already left with unpaid medical claims by a firm that state officials shut down. Using the names Best Benefits Association, Healthcare America, and possibly others, marketers have contacted some policyholders of the defunct American Trade Association, telling them they'll be automatically transferred to a new carrier, premium payments can continue, and they'll get new insurance cards, The Tennessean reports.
