Doctor, patient communication needs to be examined

A hot topic nowadays is the sorry state of doctor-patient communication. Doctors complain that patients don't listen, don't comply and won't follow instructions. Worse, they often lie about it, telling their doctors what they think they want to hear. This leaves the doctor in a lurch. Should the prescribed blood pressure medication be changed, or strengthened, if it's not working? Or is it that the patient is not taking the medication as prescribed, or not taking it at all? In ture burn, patients have a long list of complaints. Doctors rush into the examining room, their every action telling the patient they say and in a hurry.
