Immediate Jeopardy at Parkland Puts VBP Incentive Pay in Peril



Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where quality problems uncovered by state and federal surveyors triggered an "immediate jeopardy" declaration,  could be the first major acute care facility in the nation prohibited from receiving millions in value-based purchasing incentive payments under a key provision of the Affordable Care Act.
