HHS Issues Final Interim 'Red Tape' Rule



The so-called "Red-Tape" rule requiring health plans and certain healthcare providers to follow rules for electronic transactions is designed to eliminate manual processes. It will save an estimated $12 billion over ten years, the Department of Health and Human Services estimates.
