CLABSI Reductions Saved $1.8B in Healthcare Costs, Says CDC



A federal report shows a decline in intensive care unit central line bloodstream infections of 58%  and healthcare savings of nearly $2 billion over nine years. But more can be done to further reduce infections, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says.
