OIG: Feds Paid $43.3 Million for Possibly Ineffective Drugs



Some prescription drugs approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before 1962 have subsequently been found to be less than effective. A faulty computer database should have rejected payment for them, an Office of Inspector General report says.
