Internists' Salaries Rise; Surgeons' Continue to Fall



Internists took large pay increases in the past year, Locum Tenens survey shows, but their salaries remain well below subspecialists' such as radiologists and anesthesiologists. Since 2007, surgeons' average salaries have fallen 2.5%.
